Coal in T2K?
 

Has anyone done any real research into this topic yet? As in production, consumption,etc...

My advice is that you take a look at the thread map at http://forum.juhlin.com/showthread.php?t=773 as there are many threads listed there where oal has come up during discussions. One of the categories in the thread map is "Fuels". I'd look there for a start. That thread has some interesting discussions about coal powered land vehicles.
