Dear Santa.......

Could you send us some more stuff from the DC Group?

Raellus 12-05-2009 02:29 PM

I'm worried that the DC group thinks we've been naughty this year and we'll be lucky if we get a lump of coal from them.

They've been conspicuously quiet since the whole "what is canon?" debate and Webstral's self-imposed exile.

Don't get me wrong, I would really like to see some more of their work. A Polish Army Vehicle Guide or Pictoral History of the Twilight War would make my year.

Definitely the lowest point for this forum for 2009.

Legbreaker 12-06-2009 03:07 PM

Unfortunately it had to be done though, just to clear the air.

Cdnwolf 12-06-2009 06:22 PM

Damn and I all I want is a hot blonde and a cold beer....

Legbreaker 12-06-2009 06:23 PM

I'd be more than happy with a well endowed brunette myself.

:D

akula_au 12-07-2009 01:06 AM

I'm not picky, I'll take a Hot blonde and a well endowed Brunette with Beer! What the hell throw in a curvy ranga (redhead) as well.

My favorite is dark hair and green eyes -- a rare and interesting combination. Of course, you just can't really predict who will grab your heart. To me, it's much more important that a woman be attractive than good-looking.

Now that be a party!

Suddenly, I'm glad you live in Texas.:D

Red hair missing.;)

Legbreaker 12-07-2009 03:32 PM

Hmmm, I grew up in a family of redheads and then made the almost fatal mistake of marrying one.

Spent the next few years in hell....

Eh?

If you're trying to keep me away from someone, you needn't worry -- My record for length of relationship with a woman is a whole six months. I've pretty much given up on the whole idea.

The Polish Army Vehicle Guide has been absorbed into the overall Warsaw Pact Vehicle Guide, quite a ways away from seeing the light of day due to the need for LOTS more detail on the 1997 campaign.

The Illustrated History of the Third World War is 24 pages right now, it still needs a cover and about 200 pages of content. I use it as a stress-relief project when my eyes are ready to start bleeding from staring at topo maps of Manchuria or my brain is fried from reading too much Russian and I start to think in Russian...

Webstral 12-07-2009 04:48 PM

Chico, it's good to hear from you again. If you have a moment, check out my latest under "In Defense of MG Thomason". I've been doing a bit of number crunching, albeit with a fair number of fabricated figures. Still, it's an effort to set the stage for events in Arizona in late 1998 and 1999.

Just the prospect of even one of those two resources is enough to make my year! Chico, you are a saint. Thank you!

Just that I share your taste for dark hair and green eyes.:) Personnaly, I don't really like blonds as I would tell you they stink.

Will do, hopefully sometime soon!

1998 and 1999 are tough to do number crunching for... some "data" can be RL 1997 or 1998 figures, for some 1850 is more appropriate, but 1998 and 1999 is the tough transition between the 2...

Yo Chicko (you and Paul Mulcahy and Antenna was the inspirators of my and HQs site) but I see you're looking for a cover and or artist for said work. One of my oldest and best friends is actually a part-time-regular poster here FM DeCorba - so if you wan't you can check with him and he can perhaps give you a sketch/pre print idea/finished work - he is an excellent artist. There is even some of his work here:

Good to hear from one of my T2K heroes ;)

Mohoender 12-08-2009 09:04 AM

I still believe in Santa... and, Chico, I can see my faith was well placed.:)

Hey Chico,

That last part might come in handy if you ever decide to steal a Soviet "Firefox" aircraft.

Tell me about it! There's only minimal info on anything less than world events (and even they're a little skimpy!) Best we can do is look at the unit histories as presented and try working backwards while also keeping in mind actual capabilities and compositions from the late 80s-early 90s.

pmulcahy11b 12-09-2009 03:41 AM

I want my two front teeth.:D Right now, they're capped after living a life with a slight overbite.
