Your own MTLB
Its now possible to buy your ex Swedish Ex East German MTLB.
The price is about 13000 USD each. http://www.blocket.se/sodermanland/P...1_23052432.htm This company bought around 30 of them. Need one? |
Antenna, can't you engineer us a discount? I can't pay $13,000, but I might be able to scrape up $13...
|
Dang, I was saving up for my own BRDM I saw on ebay. So none of you bid on it ta drive the price beyond what I can afford.
|
OK, $20 and a $20 Starbucks Card!

It's a shame really. Sweden is a great place to visit! |
OK, $35 and an old LCD monitor (still working and kept as a backup) -- but they have to throw in the commander's machinegun.

According to the rumour mil Sweden bought about 800-1000 of witch they immediately scrapped 200-400 to get spare parts. So am quite sure there are spare parts. Sometimes u can see people selling a MTLB motor in almost mint condition. |
With that legendary Russian workmanship and precision engineering......

MTLB
I think they are actually quite good vehicles for difficult terrain and so on -I couldnt say anything about the workmanship though...
probably a bombproof design.Maybe some of of our Swedish friends here have heard anything about them in use from "lumpen" ( conscription ) ? Several batallions must have been set up with these |
