Tranqs in T2K?

Has anyone used tranquilizer guns in any T2K scenarios to take out guards, etc...? I know that TNE had a version of the Traveller "Tranq" pistol, but I'm looking for something a little more "modern-day". Stats, please.

The Special Operations Handbook has usable rules for tranquilizer darts and tranquilizer autoinjectors, but I've never seen tranquilizers used in an actual game.

Most players seem to prefer more immediate and permanent solutions...

The kind of snatch-and-grab raids that tranq would be used for wouldn't happen often in T2K. In M2K, tranq would be quite useful.

YES! I have used them, or allowed my players to use them. We also used sodium pentathol and other meds for cooperation from hostiles and for interogation.

Regarding Tranqs

A coupple of sessions ago I (GM) used fentanyl gas to tranq the whole party...They all passed out hehe...It's an excellent way of putting the party in a situation whitout all their equipment...They later woke up barely naked in a operating room where scientists where getting ready to remove their limbs...A melee with syringes and chairs was the result...lot's of laughs hehe..
