Added new section
Yup added a section called Twilight 2000 Art - The section features for the moment a 3 part series comic releating to a ftf-sessions a couple of years back - the other image is from one of our last sesions this year
The filesize is for the moment huge (23mb) pr image so it is high-res quality - I'm planning to reduce the filesize in the nearest days so the high-res images will only stay a short time....(bandwith and all) Anyway I hope you enjoy it and any feedback would be apreciated. The General |

I just "updated" my pages. Mostly what I'm doing right now is changing over from MS Office 2002 to OpenOffice.org 3.0, and the two parse DOC and HTML files a bit differently, so the resulting pages look a bit different. But while I was at it, I noticed a few errors here and there in the entries and fixed and/or updated some of them.

Updates to the big book of war
new blackpowder artillery piece
swivel gun various calibers doc. yep - the artillery of everyman in the days yonder -every skip with self esteem would have one no matter how humble his craft and every trading post worth its salt would cover the main gate with one or loose the confidence of customers all over . As for T2k? Having a giant smoothbore shotgun like appliance ready to shred whomever tries to assault your little yeomanry or the doors of your fortified appartment block seems like a good idea to me .Ammo is cheap and the technology to make one isnt too complicated .In fact disposable ones can be made from pieces of steel piping -as long as the shooter has a long stick to liight the fuze or a lot of faith..a lot ..hehe |
I'm not that good at coming up with the blackpowder stuff (TR was, and had several pieces on his site), but you're right, HQ -- blackpowder weapons might make a comeback in a T2K timeline for about 20 years or so, especially among civilians. You might even see some conversions of bolt-action weapons into inlines.

Ok, I did a long-delayed update to my site (http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeedox4/index.html ): (kato fixed your link)
first, new graphics on a lot of pages to drool over :) trimmed out a few dead links and added a few new ones split the ship designs onto their own page. updated the Warsaw Pact orbat to the latest version added the DC Working Group's documents on the front page (unless they fit in somewhere else, like the naval war or air forces pages) Enjoy! |
