Version 2.2 Equipment Question
Looking through the yellow book earlier and ran across a oddity that I can not seem to find a solution to: Namely 30mm Rarden ammo. Seems that nowhere in the book nor in the NATO book does it list the price and availability of the stuff yet it does for 40mm which isn't used at all.
Can anyone enlighten me this for it is causing me to scratch what little hair I have left right out. |

Well, you could do some extrapolation, since they list the 30mm Rar as having APDS and HE rounds, and the BYB has a listing for 30mm API and HE. Just take the 30mm HE rounds and use it for the 30mm Rar...that's 25 kg per case of 33, $750 S/C.
As for APDS, you'd have to throw out more of a guess. Since API is also $750 a case and APDS is decidely better than API, you could say somethng like $1200 per case of 33. You could put the availability at something like S/R. Otherwise, you're right...no easily found availability and cost for the 30mm Rar. Hope this helps a little. |
The UK Survivor's Guide lists it as:
30mm RARDEN APDS 250$ for 3 round clip S/R 30mm RARDEN HEI 200$ for 3 round clip S/R |
