Heromachine - not only for supadudes
4 Attachment(s)
As i mentioned before, i did a lot of "actionfigure"-handouts for T2k. To show how good this works - here are 2 examples from "the Roadwarrior".
You can build almost every person with Heromachine; there are some things you maybe wont find, but most of the time i am able to find most pieces of clothing, facial expressions, equipment i need, to make a nice pic. I have a lot in store for T2k-Modules (like the Krakow-residents, the Vistula-Pirates, New America, diverse factional leaders, NPC-Pics for random-encounters, marauders, civilians, stragglers, merchants, and so on..); if there´s any interest, i post ´em for your own use. (Yeah i know, its a comic-approach and pictures of real people are better, but to show what someone is wearing / obivious equipment - for that, i think its useable). Besides showing characters & NPC´s i like to use Heromachine to design counters (scale ´em down to whatever size you need) for bloody cardboard-battles - no need of buying any miniatures... What do you guys think ? |

Here a few people you might know (from left to right):
1.Police Prefect General Bohusz Szyszkow (Krakow) 2. Member of a certain Autonomous Milicya near Warsaw 3. Adam Rataj (Vistula) 4. German General Helmut Korrel (Leipzig) 5. Member of the Lansja Slaskie (Margravate of Slesia) |

Cool, man. Can you add a beard to Adam Rataj? (The module portrait shows him bearded.)

It looks interesting.

About Adam Rataj

I built the figure after the illustration on page 3 from "Pirates o.t.Vistula" - where "old Adam" is guiding the characters/soldiers to the hiding-place of his ship near Nowy Huta. At first i was convinced - just like you - that the illustration on page 7 was supposed to show him. BUT when you read the text it says: "At the bottom of the hill was a pass, and a grizzled-looking old civilian with a shotgun who greeted our guide with a hug and a hearty "Dzien dobry, Adam!" (This stands right next to the illustration). So i am sure, that the bearded fellow is one of the "generic" crew-members, and the one on page 3 is Adam. But anyway i made the whole crew - so pick your own choice, Rae! So here you go - (from left to right) 1. Crewman with a shotgun (OR Adam himself) 2. Jozef Grzyech 3. Tadeusz Roszkowski 4. Karl Uller 5. Walther Matusiak Since i did´nt get there with my players yet, i prepared only some of the other NPC´s (like Krol, Noz) yet. |
First, these are awesome. Second, in your US soldiers images, how did you get multiple capes to make a poncho?
Third, soldier #2 in that group looks like found a discarded bottle of USAF "Go Pills"! :D |
Thanks for the PotV icons, Tombot! Very nice.

About #2 the poncho: i used 3 layers: 1. a "standart"-capefront, 2. an "expansion-coat" (to close the front a bit underneath the capefront) , 3. a "Back"-Cape - than shift the layers with the Buttons "Move up"/down" "Make Top/Bottom". (But be careful not to press "Clear all" by accident in the process!) Its real easy to use. And mind the 2 colours for every item, it makes a huge difference to pick not the first (f.e.) "green" you see, or colour everything with just one tone.Like with good comics - careful coloration revalue any figure. About #3 (The overly happy looking soldier): yeah - he really looks like that! :) AND you just gave me an idea for another little detail about a private accompanying my players.... Great idea:D (not only funny for my poor PC´s, having a stressed soldier with some hidden, mind-altering-chemicals around) Thanks for the input!!! |
OT: Guess who ?

I bet you saw (hope at least - if not do it!) the movie...
can you guess who that is ? Hint: another genre, but it has some "postapocalyptic feel" to it, too... (Actually a character which would fit great into any T2k-scenario, i think) |

Yes, thats my version of the "Rooster"! Every story gets better with a dude wearing an eyepatch...
