OT - UK TV Recommendation
 

For those with a black sense of humour and who can cope with bad language can I recommend Bluestone 42 on BBC3 Tuesdays 20:00. It is also on iPlayer.

Basic plot is an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team in Afghanistan. I thought it might be too close to the knuckle but it captures British squaddies perfectly (just as Dog Soldiers did).

Surprisingly for a comedy the actors look and act like soldiers and even the radio procedures were correct.

Highly recommended.

I couldn't agree more: I hope there are more episodes than the usual 6 for UK sitcoms!

I wonder if they plan a surprise and kill off a character ala MASH...
