Oh yeah...to make it worse, the park rangers were finding HUNDREDS of these things (though granted, they only seem to be congesting around one particular mountain down there in OZ) measuring an average length of about EIGHT inches.

Still, I wonder....if you cooked and ate one, would you start having spastic technicolor dreams full of "pretty colors"??

You didn't mention that the area also has snails that actively hunt down their own kind for food - yep, cannibal snails.
