I have to inform you, that my private E-mail-account has been hacked. If anyone of you should get an e-mail from me in the following days: Please delete that mail! If I will send an e-mail to one of you, I will announce that via PM. The problem should be fixed by now, but who knows ...

I don't think, that anyone on this board got an e-mail but better beware!

(IMHO, If you are stupid enough to push photos to the "cloud", you get what you deserve. DO NOT post nudes!!!)

I agree with you but the younger generation doesn't have the same concept of "privacy" that we do. Gen Y seems to believe that Gen X's belief in the privacy of the individual is paranoia - so they freely post images of themselves to the net or to the cloud.
And then they whine and bitch when it goes totally public, they cannot comprehend that if you post it to the net, you no longer control it.
Hence,

The push happens automatically on Apple equipment (unless you turn it off). I am pretty sure that most people were unaware of that function. So I don't blame the celebs for that part.

They did fall for phishing techniques which puts the blame on them a bit, but while I respect the hackers for being somewhat creative, it really was not any an exploitation of a weakness in security at the apple or cloud level. Just a simple manipulation of human nature.

One caveat apple should have restricted the use of brute force attacks on the "Find my phone" function when it was first implemented (as that was considered a potential source of the photos early on), but that now seems unrelated to the leaks.

So what everyone should (re)learn from this is never enter your password on a page you were directed to via email or text.

I also have nude photos of Targan and Kato13 if anyone is brave enough to want them.

We're sure having a lot of fun at the expense of BT's dearly departed email account!

Paul, my problem seems to be solved. For some days I got MailerDemon-Mails, informing about e-mails, that could not be send to persons, I never e-mailed in my life. So, it seems everything is allright again.

And for the fun you have: I watch in a mixture of amazement and utter disgust :D (Targan in tutu ... Meh, not certain, if this would cause more problems for me ...)
