Help with research needed
 

On to the Twins, and a question I've been able to find little about: baggage pods for the VH-1N. Can anyone find more than the smattering of info I've been able to find?

there is a site that talks about them that you might be able to use to get your information - there are comments there from people who are familiar with the aircraft and possibly they can help you

I found that as well and the first guy I looked for I found 2 potential mailing addresses for them. (And have a pretty good guess about what his email would be).

Felt a little too much like stalking ;) so I was hoping that someone would just find the answer.

There are some great pictures there as well on that site of the aircraft itself - got to love a Huey with carpeting and a wet bar.

Now thats what i call a proper way to go to war. "Hey Joe, can you make me up a gin and tonic before we get to the LZ?"

Hope these may help.

I've only heard rumors -- but the more I think about it, the less sense it makes. The squadron has 6-10 helicopters at any one time -- why not just take more choppers for baggage?
