Active T2K games
 

Is there a listing of current active forum/chat games? If not, should we set one up?

I agree with Silent Hunter - would be great to know who has active game and if they are online who may be looking for players

Despite all the reading and research, I still have yet to play. I'm down for a v1 game.

I have been trying to get something set up for roll20.net but adapting maps and characters styles to a pure DND system is tough.

I have thought about it, but there are a couple of issues

1) in the 7 years I have been running the forum I have heard of about a dozen games online and a handful of in person games. There might be more I am unaware of but that volume is pretty small.

2) Data quickly becomes stale and or outdated.

I think the best solution would be to maybe make a post that links to offsite search summaries from the major players for online RPG world. I honestly don't know this realm very well so I would not know where to start.

If people want to post links to any boards that list active games we can try to put together a summary.

That third one ("The Last War") is shutting down; players are moving over to Rae's other game.

You can also snoop on other people's campaigns. Read the story elements, look at the maps.

Unfortunately Obsidian Portal still haven't restored their search function, you'll have to trawl through all the pages to find any T2k campaigns. Or you can look at the map provided when you hit the "Games Nearby" tab and try your luck.

Obsidian Portal is better than it was a few years back and it makes for a good campaign tracker and info blog but there are still some problems, such as the lack of search function, people have been asking for that since 2013 :(

Now that was a much smarter way of doing a search. Wish I'd thought of it before :(

If a site does not have a functional search the key is add "site:website-to-search.com" (without quotes) to your Google search.

I would like to stick with ver 1. Right now trying to work on the great macro system they have for roll20.net and build a custom character sheet to sync with the macros.

I can run either 2.2 or REFLEX (2013) but using 2.2 timeline. I might even update it to Twilight: 2020. Basically just add 20 years to the 2000 timeline for simplicity so the equipment is updated. Im flexible. Just wanna run!

Im having a friend whos a programmer and gamer looking into designing PC sheets for Roll20 for both 2.2 and REFLEX. Its not hard to do just needs to be done.
