However, I go back to my HUGE problem with canon. If, in 1998, the CIGOV Iowa Reserve Militia engaged the USAF Security Forces in the missile fields of North Dakota and, per canon, the warheads have "been removed", then WTF did they go? And, WTF would either MILGOV or CIVGOV remove them from perfectly mission capable delivery platforms as long as the Soviets retained the ability to end humanity 10X over? To me, this is a far worse leap in logic than a Mexican invasion or even trying to reinforce the Euro theatre.
