256th Mechanized Brigade - OOB?

Re-reading Escape from Kalisz and reading all the threads from here I can't get a clear indication as the OOB for the 256'th Brigade?

From some notes I have from 20 years ago I have the 3/11 Inf and the 1/61 Inf belonging to the unit but I can't find any indication of what Armor unit was part of the Brigade.

Thanks for any help (and if you can clarify the source you used.)

256th was a Louisiana National Guard infantry brigade. Per the somewhat sketchy Wikipedia entry (consider the source carefully):

Thanks Tey... I also used the 5'th Division Reorganized and it kind of matches what you found.

256th Brigade is composed of 1-156 Armor, 2-156 Infantry and 3-156 Infantry.

If you look on the wiki page there's a breakdown diagram there. I used to have link to an association page that had more information but can't find it now.
