Some lite reading...
So while scouring the internet for images and information to liven up and flesh out the t2k setting, I came across 3 us field manuals from 1991 about the Soviet Union. FM 100 2 #1,#2,and #3. I was wondering if anybody else has used military field manuals to supplement their campaigns. I know there are quite alot of vets(thank you) and a number of (pardon the phrase) realism commies on this most awesome of forums. I have since downloaded a number of PDF field manuals which are quite easily found, most for free. They're chock full of useful info for the survival enthusiast, real and fictional. And they're double helpful for those of us with non military backgrounds.

Yes, it is important so that you can play the Warsaw Pact forces correctly. I think you can find all of them (published and re-published) from various years on Scribd.com.... Look also for the DoD publication...Soviet Military Power. That was a once a year published sort of "State of the Soviets" general distribution source. |
Thanks for reminding me about this; I have used Soviet Military Power myself as a 'source' for Covert-81.

I kept every manual I could too.
