OpenStreetMap will have at least some of that data. You can get a weekly data dump XML file (known as the
Planet file). It's big (over 160GB, compressed using bzip2 to around 6GB), but there are mirror sites like
Cloudmade. who offer extracts covering individual continents and countries.
