I haven't seen
Seven Days in May, but
Fail Safe is an iconic Cold War movie. I read the book before I saw the movie, though -- I had a totally different idea of what the Vindicator bomber looked like (I was thinking more XB-70 Valkyrie) than the B-58 Hustlers they used in the movie.
