Default Stargate T2K

It occurred to me, several months ago, as I was rewatching SG-1, that there was a certain amount of overlap between the timelines. The trip to Abydos and death of Ra likely would have occurred before the start of the Twilight War. The raid on SGC by Apophis and the return to Abydos would have probably occurred before the nuclear exchange. White the stargate would likely have not been destroyed in the exchange, it's iffy if Apophis' attack fleet could have been stopped (OTOH, they might never have showed up when they did had gate travel been disrupted by nukes.

So, to get to the point, the idea is to run a Stargate campaign against the backdrop of the Twilight War. Obviously, SGC would me much less well-supported, but the military vs civilian gate control theme takes on a new meaning with MilGov and CivGov.

Any comments?
