What did the CivGov do with the US IV Corps after MilGov pulled out Germany?

Where they abandoned in the former Yugoslavia or did the CivGov try to pull out their troop or work out deal with who ever to pull them out?

Would the CIA agents/CivGov attempt to contact the US Fourth Army and other US units that were answering to the MilGov up north to change loyalties after the winter of 2000-2001?

Just some more questions.
