EMP most of our stuff is now protected from it and has been for the last 10 to 15 years..so no effect there..

Invasion..how will they get here. no other country in the world has an airforce or navy large enough to make it accross the lake or the logistical support to supprot there troops here..
our navy largest in the world and most powerfull would sink or shoot down any thing coming even the most modern stuff from anyone else..
our nukes..we would make anyone glow if the even came close to our coast.
command and control the milgov and civ gov split could never happen trust me on this if ..i say more i goto jail just trust me on this one..
our ground troops..just two of our divisions beat down Iraq in 3 weeks of combat.. so the other 10 we have at home would crush anyone on our home turf not to mention our 8 NG divisions and the 2 to 8 million armed former military members that would come out of the wood work and the 2 to 8 million non ex military members that are armed that would show up... so who has that much power no one..
