Thanks Tigger, its good to be here. Gunmaster is what I know is all. I started playing Twilight 2000 back in 1987 and that's how I met Targan. We did use the original rules for a few years but by the early 90's and after playing alot of Harnmaster and seeing how much more detailed and I don't know - I want to say sophisticated - that system was there was no going back! Bill Gant made it possible with his conversion and then we somehow made it all fit for Twilight.

I never even saw what v.2 was like so I can't comment on that. V.1 was weird in some ways you know? Like you could get a sucking chest wound and as long as it was only the one bullet and your character was really tough, you could just keep on truckin! The way we played it was that if the hypovolaemic shock and/ or tension pneumothorax didn't kill you in short order (regardless of just how damn tough you were), then you still might die from infection. In fact one of my characters did! A loud mouth cavalry scout called Texas got a golden staf. infection after being shot in the thigh and died a slow death, thanks to our realistic rule system and Major Po's medical treatment.
