I had decent expectations of "The Expendables" and after watching it...well, my feelings were mixed.
No, I didn't expect any great big coherent story...but was it me or was there some serious cliches in the movie overall that bugged me? Well, that and this was after I watched Stallone's last "Rambo" film which I think was one of his best. Oddly enough, it's said some audience members were rolling their eyes at the amount of carnage in the film, such as when Rambo operates the M2 .50 cal Browning.

It seems many still don't realize just what kind of damage a .50 cal round will do to an average human sized target...
Anyway, getting back on track, I think the problem with Expendables is that they hyped way too much on the star billing. Yeah, it wasn't bad...but I just wish they'd focused a bit more on the movie itself, but I digress. To each their own.
