Default Anniversary Edition

Bought the Anniversary Ed. lately and added the (Betaversion, but its pretty much done) "Cold War Rearmed"- & "Bundeswehr"-Mod.
You´ll get the whole package (starting with the original "Flashpoint", "Arma 1 & 2 & Expansions") for 30 €. Thats money well spent!

Oh thats sweet. Just the sounds, and the glare of muuzleflashes in the night.
The editor is the best part, easy to use with loads of things to try.
You dont have to know how write a script, to create your own scenarios within a few minutes. Good stuff, dont miss it! Maybe the best game for any T2k-Fanboy ever made.
Everon and the other "Original Flashpoint-Islands" made such a nice equivalent to the rural poslish landscape from "Escape from Kalisz". And with the maps for desertwar, you recreate the contents about CENTCOM/RDF-Sourcebook as well.

Only things i really do miss is more archaic weaponry and horses to ride, to do scenarios based on the equipment after the battles of WW III are over.

I still would like to have two different types of pc-games for T2k-purposes as well:
1. A recreation of the oldschool "Twilight2000"-PC-game in a turnbased, but recent adaption. The newest version of "Jagged alliance" was a canidate for that, but the reviews dont raise my hopes. (Damn, this game should have an editor, as easy to use, as in Arma2!).

2. A "total war"-game for the 20th century (off course with an editor, to be able to recreate postwar europe and/or USA/ other countrys).
I remember playing "Rome" for quite long and it was great. It would be nice to have, not only to play with. It could serve you as a GM-Map, where you have an overview of all things, at a certain time.
Right now, i have to write everything down (if f.e. a certain unit moves somewhere else). Here, i could just "save" a specific gameplay and have my overview for august 2000, february 2001, and so on..
How is the Markisz of Slesia doing about securing his southern border ? Did german troops discover the 33rd Sov. MRDin Cottbus ?
Is there diplomatic conctact between a faction from Krakow and that madman in Warsaw?
Just imagine having that kind game for T2k! A wet dream, folks...
