We proceeded down the road to Sieradz and engaged the three T-80's there, destroying them all with direct shots, then put a lot of the troops there to flight and killed a bunch more. The only real scare we took was a close call with an RPG but it missed and we didnt. The bridge was still intact so we went over it heading for Zdunksa Wola but now with some more trucks the Russians had in Sieradz along for the ride.

When we got close the major had the Green Beret scout the town and found a POW cage and about 30 Poles. We went in full power while he and three others picked off the guards at the cage itself and freed the 60 guys there. A bunch of them were in bad shape but about forty were good to go and we armed them with the weapons from the Poles who didnt need them anymore.

As we were doing that we spotted a column of Poles coming into town and ambushed them, killing another 50 Poles and freeing another 30 troops, all of whom were from the 256th Brigade that got overrun at Lask. We also took five NPC dead (including a couple of the guys we just freed) and one PC slightly wounded.

We all loaded up in the trucks we captured from the Russians and now had basically a company's worth of men. The major and our Pole interrogated a surviving Pole and found out that Lask was being held by about 150 men and two howitzers and was the HQ for the unit so we headed that way to see if we could take it out.
