It can definitely be done, I think it's just a matter of who has the free time at the moment.
I say that because I envisage the scenario as something that would take quite a number of sessions. It would be something along the lines of the "Going Home" scenario in terms of duration, distance travelled, equipment required and so on - but with less water and less Soviets
