I saw it in 3D, maybe it was just me but the contrast of the desert vs any other colors was too bright. And I also thought the sound effects during the chase scenes seemed to override whatever limited dialogue there was. I liked the back story of the original movies "two great tribes went to war", "the precious juice" etc etc as well as what character development there was. There didn't seem to be much reference to what caused the fall of civilization beyond a few grunted sentences. Also there was a certain level of humor in the the previous movies (Ayatollah of rock and rolla anyone?) I didn't think there was much of that.

Lots of action, some of it over the top. You've seen the trailers.

But don't get me wrong, I actually liked Fury Road and want to see it again and will probably buy it when it comes out on bluray. oh and there were 2 or 3 homages to Road Warrior, or at least I thought they were.

How can you not like a movie that has a double necked flamethrower guitar?!?!
