Look, one of the leaked documents from Hillary Clinton's server discussed how she would aim to put 10000 US troops on the ground in Syria (thus virtually guaranteeing contact with Assad's forces or Russian forces). She'd mask it in the form of goading McCain into asking for 100000 and then "propose" a "more reasonable" mere ten thousand.
