OT - Volkssturmgewhr
Another odd weapon in the collection of the Defence Academy, Shrivenham, a Volkssturmgewhr - the first time I've got to handle one. A few comments:
* At 4.6kg unloaded it is heavy
* The grip while looking awkward isn't too bad, probably easier if you are used to non-pistol grip weapons
* The sights are shocking - even the Sten has better sights!
I'm guessing similar weapons might occur in TW2000 based around the AK although by 2000 there will probably be plenty of AKs to go around in many cases.
