Considering the 157th MX BDE is the only Hvy Bde in USAR and was the First Army area. Also consider that the 157 BDE is in an area where they were having recruiting problems already if you consider the combining of three guard divisions to one. It really isn't surprising and might also explain the appearance of the heavy cav troop e/118th in the 1990s. It would be fairly easy to do.
