Nothing like that or anything remotely crazy happened to me or anyone I know (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria) growing up.

Then again three years ago me and some friends driving through Serbia to go yachting in Greece were held at gunpoint but thats Serbia.

Funny thing about the hunting accident. Here in Czech Republic its VERY difficult to own a gun. Most people to get one (like the few that do own one) have to join a hunter's club so they usually get some hunting rifle.

But out of EVERYONE here I know I think maybe 1 person owns a gun.
