D20.. a lot like v2.2 Twilight.
You have a skill say... Longarm (aka Combat Rifleman).
(character creation is a lot like v2.2 with phases and you pick skills from your current phase EX: Force Recon - 2 years)
Depending on how many 'points' you get in Longarm determines your skill level. (Novice, Competent, etc.).
If you are ... say ... 'Competent' in 'Longarm' you get to roll 2d20 and take the lower roll trying to get under your CDN (coordination) stat.
If you are 'Professional' you get 3d20L (take lower) while trying to get under your CDN stat.
'Novice' gets 1d20 and hope for the best.
Completely unskilled gets 2d20H (take higher) - but at least gets a try.
Sounds easy but there are more penalties that apply to nearly every roll than v2.2
EX: Anything past 7 meters has some 'Visual Range' penalty.
