I thought having Richard Nixon being part of the Council of Tomorrow was quite ingenious.
It is possible that Morrow had been to the future, seen a particular event unfold, came back and told Nixon about it shortly before it occurs; Nixon, seeing Morrow predict this event that now happens in front of him, then gives Morrow whatever he needs.
