Yes it was but as of the ARNG reorganization of 1988 Texas was looking to reform the 36th ID (still keeping the 49th AD) by the mid-90’s (as a Mech Div). Oregon also had a future (mid-90’s)plan to reform the 41st ID in the NorthWest. I’ll be posting those docs tonight.
