The 100th Infantry Division was responsible for basic armor training and armored cav school training and was actually issued M1 tanks and M3 Bradleys. This would explain the number of tanks it still has by mid 2000 for sure. The 1st and the 3rd of the 398th were armor, not light infantry as depicted earlier in this thread

The 100th would have been one of the most effective of the training divisions, considering it would have been composed of training officers who were very adept at the use of tanks and armored vehicles in general and probably would have been able to give any Mexican regular army formation one heck of a fight.

While many of the training divisions did very poorly during the Twilight War they definitely would not have been.

Given their assignment they would most likely have had more tanks and armor than the vehicle guide gives them credit for - and especially given the fact that by 2000 they are at Fort Carson and most likely would have raided what was left by the 4th at Fort Collins.

Also given the composition of the division I would say that the Cadet Brigade is probably a much more effective force than they would have been otherwise. The 100th is the perfect unit to be able to turn a bunch of Air Force cadets with no infantry or tank training into an effective unit that would be able to keep the MilGov command area guarded against basically any threat that might come their way.
