Heh, I GM'd Gateway a few years back and set the time during grand final week of the soccer season. Alcohol powered buses and trucks loaded down with up to a hundred people were driving about delivering fans to the grounds to watch their teams. At least half the passengers were rastifarians and stoned as could be. A plume of smoke followed each vehicle as it did the rounds.
Was one of the more memorable scenes in all my years of RPGing.
A little later the PCs found the M113 stashed away and got it running again. tired of just about everyone taking pot shots at them, they loaded up and drove up to the Cuban commanders door and demanded peace talks began. As they had the only armour on the island, and there were next to no weapons capable of so much as scratching the paintwork...
