Looking over things, I live 32 miles from a secondary target (Keesler AFB) and a bit over 80 miles from a major target (New Orleans). Since I live in the country, roughly four months worth of canned goods for the family, vegetable garden out back and a neighbor with a herd of cattle and goats. Since Katrina, I've installed some solar panels, enough juice to keep the fridge, freezer and some lights working.
A dozen rifles and pistols, about 200 rounds per and two black powder rifles and about 5lbs of FFFFG powder.
Hmmmmm I think its time to order some more ammo!
