Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon are my grades/ratings, with B.E.M. having Alpha-One rating; the Commander of Prime Base having a Gamma-One rating; while the commander of a group, farm, supply base, etc would have a Delta-Two rating. Team Leaders have Epsilon-One ratings, and 'rank and file' team members have Epsilon-Two ratings.
As you can see, there are ratings in between these but I think you have the idea of what I do and how I do it.

I like the use of Alpha, beta, gama, delta as the titles for the grade/level security clearence.. it reminds me of the ComStar from battletech. gives me an idea on how i can use it. i'll post later when i get a chance to develop it some more!
