Our apartment building has blast shelter (it should survive 100-200 kPa pressure). Finnish law requires that all large buildings in "air threat areas" to have one. All shelters have an air filtration systems and water tanks. In case of nuclear war you should be able to survive 14 days inside shelter. All citizens should also have "emergency food" for 14 days in their homes.

Other option is local super hardened civil defense shelter just 300 metres from our home. Its 300 meter long cave shelter that has been carved in granite. It should be able survive everything except direct ground burst from nuclear weapon. It should protect thousands of local residents that dont have blast shelters in their apartment buildings.

In any case its not wise to stay in Helsinki if shooting war ever starts and my wife and kids should relocate to western Finland if (we have allready made arrangements). I still have an "active reserve status" and my current war time post should be in local airbase.
