Default New City Map

Just a heads up that I just put up for sale new map on DTRPG.

Cincinnati: The Ruins of the Queen City
Its a map for Cincinnati Ohio that is compatible with Urban Operations (200m hexes). It is just the map, but I did make versions that work with Roll20 & Foundry. I used late 90s maps for reference, so it has the old waterfront from before the redevelopment.

If anyone picks it up, let me know what you think.

I don't recall reading mention of Cinci in any previous T2k product (any edition). I'm all for new settings, so please don't take this as implied criticism but, out of curiosity, why Cincinatti in particular?

Fun fact: In Cincinnati, the 'Thanksgiving Day Massacre' is known as the 'Second Thanksgiving Day Massacre'. This is because, years earlier, there was a citywide event on Thanksgiving that also qualified as a massacre. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lf3mgmEdfwg

Always good to see another release from you, Jed!

Pairs well with CENTKYTO.

Great question. Pretty much my thinking was:
  1. Free League is pretty unlikely to publish anything on Cincinnati in the future, so it seems like a good space to work in.
  2. I have already made the CENTKYTO travel map, so this adds value to the people who bought it.
  3. Cincinnati is a river city, so it not only works with Urban Operations but also can be a location to visit for a campaign on the Ohio River using Hostile Waters.
  4. I lived there in the mid-90s, and thought that the city's geography would work well for an Escape from New York or Battlefield: Los Angeles-type combat zone.
  5. It just seemed like it would be neat.
