Default Spreading Twilight

Two summers ago, I ran a T2k game (v2.2) for my then-13-year-old son and his friends. They rather liked it, and most were pleased when I announced plans for a WW2 game this summer.

This afternoon, I spent 2 hours with one of those guys, who wants to make up his own modern semi-post-apocalyptic game, like many of the video games that they play. We talked a lot about T2k, both rules sets, and Shadowrun. He's more or less decided on using v2.2 rules, and making up his own setting. I encouraged him heartily, of course.

I pointed him to FFE, where he can get his own copies of the rules on CD.

I'm kinda jazzed to play my own game soon, too.

That's awesome! I'm excited to have shown it to my nephew a year or two back. I should get him a copy when he goes off to college.

T2K2.2 is what I'm introducing my nephew to. I'm currently looking at the Alternate Settings poll in the back. I'm still thinking of the "Biohazard" variation, perhaps with prions instead of bacteria. Twilight 2000/2013 has everything else for such a genre.

Default Follow-up

My son's friend is running something Twilight-ish tonight, at a gaming sleepover (Man, I miss those ). My son borrowed my BYB, so I guess it's v2-ish.
