Mass Combat
A couple of months ago I was asking about a set of mass combat rules to make a lot of shooting NPCs quick and easy. It seemed no one knew what I was talking about, and I dont blame anyone...it was quite a while ago.
Yesterday I found a huge chunk of gold in my storage unit, a lot of my old T2K stuff including paperwork, characters, house rules, and all kinds of other stuff. Here is the mass combat stuff, I thought it would be selfish to not share it. Ill probably be sharing other stuff soon too. Last edited by kota1342000; 07-01-2012 at 12:49 PM. |

Haha, consider that stolen. I'm gonna use that to mess up my players They're suddenly gonna walk into a Warsaw Pact live-fire training range...

Probably a stupid question, but when they're talking about die rolls, what dice are they referencing? I'd assume a d20, but I'd like to be sure. I mean, Very Heavy mentions a roll of 13...

I think the original intent was to roll 3D6, I just use a D20.

That might require a bit of testing to see how much it skews the intended range of results. It's just that obviously although the numbers range generated is similar, the probability curve is radically different (ie even spread with D20, bell curve with 3D6).

I don't doubt it, I started using the D20 simply because it was faster. If Im going to fudge stuff, I do it in favor of the players. I throw enough hell death and destruction at them as it is and any advantage they can have is a good thing. LOL

Sorry to bump a really old post.
Does anyone have any suggestions to adapt this to the Twilight 2013 rule set? I think it's a really cool system, and I'd love to use it in an upcoming campaign. |
