General Dynamics, now a Norwegian firm!!

Kongsberg is calling London home.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper made it official this morning at a press conference at the Delta Armouries Hotel, the Norwegian defence contractor is opening a new, $50-million business here doing research and development and bringing manufacturing to the city.

"Our government''s number one priority is growth in jobs," said Harper. "Kongsberg brings . . . knowledge intensive jobs on which the economy of the future will be built."

Kongsberg Defence Corporate will employ about 30 people when it opens in the first quarter of 2011 and that will ramp up to abut 100 people, supplying military contractors, including General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada, with support systems for weapon turrets found on its armoured vehicles.

Its local suppliers will employ another 500 workers. It plans on leasing a 50,000-square-foot space near London International Airport.

"There is serious, worldwide competition to attract companies like Kongsberg," said Harper.

The Norwegian firm did not receive any federal or provincial incentives to locate here.

get a job with them -then when they send you on the mandatory Norwegian class in Oslo you will sit on our sessions on days off .Starting on the cannonfooder stool playing a character with no common language -maybe an Uzbek- and graduating to a fullblown PC spot on the cushy couch as your Norwegian language progresses to the level that you can actually communicate that you seek cover .

I am hurt that my character with his INTERESTING BACKGROUND is not mentioned here ..

Clearly only the most deranged and inept playercharacters whose players have taken a gazillion SF terms only to get the points with absolutely NO tactical awareness gets any mention in your book!!

Well -since shockingly incompetent and amoral behaviour in a PC is the only language you will understand i shall show why my guy has been so absurdly normal in his responses -


he is a stone cold serial player-slayer.

His game is to lure other partymembers on a mission were they end up beyond any assistance and then when all looks the darkest -

bloody backstabbinng betrayal !!

One by one they will disappear in the dark ...

I just wanted to point out that there is also some not so deranged PC with a largely civillian background.
