Default Lost Battle with Wife - All My Twilight 2K Items Must Go by May 1

Well, I finally lost the battle with the wife and all my original Twilight 2000 stuff must go by the end of the month. If you'd like any of the below, make me an offer.

Most things are in pretty good shape as I used to collect comic books so everything is in individual mylar bags.

Original Game
Twilight: 2000 – original boxed set (1984)
Small Arms Guide
Heavy Weapons Guide
Adventure Modules
• The Last Submarine
• Howling Wilderness
• Satellite Down
• Kidnapped
• Urban Guerilla
• Gateway to the Spanish Main
• Airlords of the Ozarks
• Allegheny Uprising
• Red Star Lone Star
• Going Home (for some reason I have 2 of these...)

2nd Edition
Twilight: 2000 – 2nd edition boxed set (1990)
Twilight Encounters – boxed set
American Combat Vehicle Handbook
Soviet Combat Vehicle Handbook
Adventure Modules
• City of Angels
• Return to Warsaw

Remember a divorce lawyer is expensive... but a runaway car just needs the cost of gas!!

No fucking way!

They're your goddamn books. You can do whatever you want with them. You think she'd stand for it if you went in her closet and started telling her which of her shoes had to go? Hell no. She'd pitch a fit.

Keep the books. Sell the wife.

At least you're offering them here and "keeping them in the family" so to speak...
It's a good opportunity though for Gabe The Gun to pick up a few of the modules he's missing - make it easier to string a campaign together.
If your arms being twisted and everything absolutely MUST go, I might be interested to taking one of the 2nd ed boxed sets off your hands - it's the only thing I don't have already (although I do have the components besides the box itself).

Given the predictable reactions to this thread, I must wonder if we are being trolled.

(Apologies if I am being far too cynical)

No, you may be right -- a sales pitch designed to tug at our emotions. I don't need the stuff, but the subject definitely got me steamed at the (possibly nonexistent) wife.

Well if the situation is for real you have my heartfelt sympathies Javellan. I gather it must be a divorce settlement situation? Because I can tell you right now, if my fiance demanded that I get rid of any of my books, RPG or otherwise, I'd tell her in no uncertain terms what she could do with her ultimatum. Any way that you could come to some arrangement with friends to sell the T2K stuff to them with the option to buy it back later?

I have to agree here -- but I've seen spouses do this sort of thing to friends of mine over and over again, and his spouse probably won't stop there. It's not about someone getting rid of a hobby the wife doesn't agree with -- it's a battle of wills, and that's not my idea of what a marriage should be.

Headquarters - this is a lot of stuff; I'm not taking pics of it all, plus you and I both know that with Photoshop and the right angle, I can make it look it's brand new in sealed poly bags signed by Loren with a kiss of approval....

Here's the deal - and I reiterate - I will send it (or whatever you want of it) to you FIRST - then you say "yeah/nay" - and then I'll send you a PayPal link for you to pay our agreed upon price.

If you don't like it - you send it back; that way both of us pay our own postage and the only one taking a risk is me.

My Wife just complains about this forum, only from time to time, she shares here complaints with sister law (Canadian Army Wife) and we in turn complain about them complaining about the forum, they stop complain when agree to watch the kids while we post stuff, they go shopping so it's win win
