Default OT: Another of the Great Generation Passes

My grandfather, who fought in the Navy in WW2, has reported to that final formation in the sky. I'll be out of the net for a few days for travel to the funeral, etc. With any luck, flying across the country with a 14 month-old will only be a little tougher than a tour in Baghdad. I'll be back at my post certanly within six or seven days.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May your grandfather find calm seas and a fair sky.

Condolences for your loss, and my sympathies for having to fly with a 14 month old on top of that.
