Default A1F Skyraider

James if you're going to take a page and do a "TFW" write-up and wanna pinch any of this go right ahead, I don't mind.

Anyhow, a hypothetical A1F I could see having a lot of stuff scavenged from the A10 on it - Pave Penny laser pickup, wiring for Hellfires or Laser Mavericks, maybe even ad-hoc titanium armor plating from the Warthog's "tub". Also, make the cargo bay "wet" for extended loiter time ('cause if you're gonna go up, make it a good trip considering the fuel situation)...LOTS of FFAR tubs hanging off.

Depending on what's still available and working, NVGs for the pilot would be a must. Also scavenged from other a/c would be systems like RWR and missile launch warning receiver sets, flare and chaff dispensers would be a must, too.

NVGs are great but the instruments won't be visible as they won't be compatable. Our SF helicopters used to work on pilot with NVGs and co-pilot reading instruments out loud (or vice versa) until they were upgraded.
