Default Millennium's End rules in the T2k & M2k universe..

Hi everyone, I just wanted to find out if anyone else has used the old Millennium's End system for running their Twilight 2000 and Merc 2000 campaigns...

I enjoy playing ME, but MAN the combat takes a while to resolve! Soooo I kinda went the other way, used T2K combat rules in ME.

I really like their hit determination system but also found the system too cumbersome to use back in the day.

When we played M.E. we streamlined the hell out of combat, but kept the hit determination with the overlays for those times that we wanted 'gritty' determinations during close quarters combat... We really liked the character generation, and when i found the books online, it made me remember fondly the work I had done for the company back then (and reminded me why my deeply felt personal belief that J.M.S. might be a great writer, but is a major jerkass is so correct).

I played in just one campaign of ME but I really enjoyed it. I like my rules nice and crunchy so I really liked how ME handles combat. I think shoehorning the ME combat system into T2K would work well. Interesting thread topic, Nate.

You would then be appalled at my work to use the Fudge engine for T2K
