Default OT (kinda sorta): New fic in progress by Jason Weiser, "Night Witches"

For anyone interested, Jason has a new fic out he's working on called "Night Witches", which essentially is about none other than MTV's Daria Morgendorffer who becomes an F-111 pilot during WW3.

The prelude and rundown of the war follows the premise of Sir John Hackett's "Third World War: August 1985" and "The Third World War: The Untold Story", with some liberties. Without spoilers, let's just say Jason's version may get a little more insane worldwide...

It's very well written and definitely has me hooked. I keep checking to see if there's another chapter. Definitely worth a look-see.

See Jason? Now you have even more reason to keep going with this.

Oh, forgot to add. Yes, Jason's aware that there was in fact a certain all-female Soviet aviation unit during WWII by that very name. It does have a certain delicious irony to it.
