West Virginia Water or why we do what we do
I hope you have read about the chemical spill in West Virginia. It resulted in a NO USE of the city water system except for flushing toilets or fighting fires. NOTHING ELSE!!!
So this is a good reason to reflect on why we have our respective "stashes" and what use they could be in situations that are less than TEOTWAWKI. My $0.02 Mike |

Now that you bring it up, this could be a very definite possibility in a T2K environment. Hell, an adventure could be written around getting clean water to a town.

Know I remember why I keep seven cases of potable bottled water stashed away and several gallons of non-potable water as well. One thing I do see coming back are rain barrels and cleaned out constantly gutters to collect it. Then some sort of filtration system to clean that out as well.
