Some of my Texas Data
So, its been awhile since I have posted, thought i would see what you guys think.
My campaign is an ultra realistic attempt to flesh out something very similar to the DC Groups "US Recovery Plan" threads where an expanded 1st Cavalry comes back to texas. Then combine the massive undertaking that was put together to detail out the states populations and then new estimated populations after the war. Add some oil production estimations and such... Attached is my first attempts at something similar to meet the Texas coastal campaign I am managing...

Ok so does this stuff not make any sense to people or is it way off? Looking for some feedback actually...
The idea is I took normal 1990's oil production, population and land area numbers to determine roughly what those numbers might be in a T2K world. I used a 10% of land area, assuming that as an average that was the very least I should be able to use for food production. I used 0.1% of oil production numbers, thinking that even after the Mexicans running through, I dedicated and organized force within a secure areas could get at least that going with some effort. That was one major problem I had with the "Red Star" module..no one pumped any oil apparently. Thoughts?

I have looked at your numbers but have not digested them yet.
I agree with you that given there were IIRC 57,000 plus productive wells in Texas in 1997, Texas should have some oil. Scorched Earth policies will significantly curtail production, but all would not be lost. |

If you disagree or dont understand what I was going for here, please ask. I'd like to see if my thought process was logical or if I missed the boat here...
