Default One hundred year anniversary.

Exactly 100 years ago on July 28, 1914 World War One started.

That reminds me of a paper I had to write for my Seminars in History class (the last class before you get your BA). We had to write a believe it not short paper on how the settlement of the New World and colonial competition in the 15th century led to the Cold War. Good exercise on getting to the point fast.
